Joanna Tinsley

‘My painting is expressing the heart and soul of a person or of a place.  The aim is to convey the feeling of freedom, spiritual harmony, peace and tranquillity particularly when there is such disharmony in the world. I’m absorbed with light in many forms. My desire is to portray any subject matter with colour, light, innocence, focus, quiet purposeful understanding, , strength, endurance, fulfilment and knowledge of destination.’

Joanna was born in Krakow, Poland in 1969. She lives in N. Ireland since 1995 together with her husband Colin, working as a full time artist and being involved in charity work of Hope for Youth Ministries.
