Ann Feely

Ann Feely (Ann McCall) is a visual artist originally from Lurgan. Her studio is based in Banbridge Co. Down. Ann is classically trained and has had a successful career to date in the arts sector since graduating with her BA (Hons) Degree from the highly acclaimed University of Ulster (Belfast Art College). Her 22 years in arts development and management for key creative businesses, arts organisations and Council as well as developing her own painting and creative practice during this time, have afforded her a varied and interesting résumé.
Ann is a full time professional artist. Her work is inspired by the world around her – particularly with Irish landscapes – imagined and painted in her signature style. Drips, textures and the palette knife feature heavily in her work. Her chosen mediums are acrylics and oils on canvas. Ann’s work has featured in Ireland’s Homes Interiors and Living Magazine and at group exhibitions. Her paintings are held in private collections across Ireland, the UK and America.  She has her public art installed in major public parks in Banbridge, public buildings in Belfast and her paintings also feature in public buildings.
Her original paintings are available at notable galleries across Ireland. Ann also produces a special selection of quality, fine art signed prints, from her originals.
Her art is recognised as colourful and textured with a real sense of positivity, movement and energy. Her latest body of work encapsulates some of Ireland’s most iconic landscapes and landmarks.
She is a member of Shore Artists Collective and was the previous Chair of Arts in Motion, a major community arts organisation that covers Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon areas. Ann feels the need to give back to her community and so has taught art and design classes and workshops for adults and young people at schools and art centres across Northern Ireland since 2007. She uses her signature style as the foundation for her friendly, fun and supportive instruction to inspire emerging artists as well as other professionals.
